W!LD RICE will celebrate Beauty World‘s
20th Anniversary in January 2008 with a spectacular production that boasts a fabulous fresh cast, lavish sets and costumes, snazzy dance routines and truly memorable heart-warming songs.

Helmed by director Ivan Heng, who was the original Frankie Wong, this will be first time in 20 years that Beauty World has been given an overhaul. Writer Michael Chiang has penned new scenes and twists to the script, and composer Dick Lee has written 6 new songs. Musical Director Iskandar Ismail is working on creating a new sound for the musical’s 10 piece band, and choreography duo Ah Hock & Peng Yu will set the stage alight with new dance routines.

The new Beauty World Cabaret will be completely renovated by Canadian set designer John Dinning, with lighting by Mac Chan. Last but not least, Moe Kasim and Ashley Lim will be revamping the fashion of Singapore’s swinging sixties to dress and coiff the denizens of the night club.
