DENISE TAN (Lulu)

Ten years ago, Denise made her professional theatre debut as a humble cabaret singer in the 10th anniversary of Beauty World. Since then, you may have seen her in productions including Kara-You-OK?, Chang and Eng and M. Butterfly, before she was inhaled by a giant transmitter and broadcast into millions of ears daily (ok, slightly less than that!), as co-host of Power 98 FM’s popular morning show in 2001.

This spilled over into countless commercial and animation voice-overs, until Denise made her triumphant return to stage as a leather-clad Genie in 2004’s Aladdin. Roles in LovePuke (Hermione), Broadway Beng (Chio Bu #3) and The Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey) followed quickly before Denise jetted off round the world on humanitarian pursuits like wiping snotty noses in orphanages and digging trenches in prisons.
