ELENA WANG (Ivy Chan Poh Choo)

Elena Wang was raised in Singapore before migrating to Perth, Western Australia. In the 10 years there, Elena performed in Musicals such as The King and I and Sweet Charity and played the leading role Scout in the production of To Kill a Mockingbird and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She also choreographed and directed dances and scenes for competing Perth festivals.

Elena was also Head of the Chorale and Barbershop in St. Hilda’s High School, where she led the groups in Eisteddfods and toured Europe to compete internationally with countries such as USA and Japan.

Since attending LASALLE College of the Arts Musical Theatre programme, Elena has performed in international corporate functions and performed in several styles including Commedia Del arte, Cabarets, the musical Two Gentlemen of Verona in which she played a lead role, and Once on This Island in which she played Asaka.

Elena is now a graduate with Honours in Musical Theatre accredited by the UK Open University.
