ESTHER YAP (Chorus/Rosie)

Esther's professional debut onstage was in Ah Kong's Birthday Party (SRT) in 1998, after receiving her BA in Drama from QUT. She has since appeared in numerous productions  such as Ikan Cantik (Teater Kami), The Crucible (DramaPlus Arts), Club Tempest (3.14), A Beautiful Companion (TheatreWorks) and Stop Kiss (Livid Room), which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination during the 2nd DBS Life! Theatre Awards. In 2001, Esther joined the SAF Music and Drama Company where she trained and performed in events like SAF Day and National Day Parade as host, singer and dancer.

This is her 2nd collaboration with W!LD RICE since the inaugural Singapore Theatre Festival ’06 with The Silence of the Kittens. Esther is excited to be part of the music and the dancing of Beauty World.
